1 c. Thesco Flour

2 T. Cocoa

2 t. Baking Powder

1 c. Sugar

1/4 t. Salt

1/2 c. Milk

2 t. Oleo, melted

1 t. Vanilla

1 c. Chopped Nuts


1 1/2 c. Brown Sugar

5 T. Cocoa

1 3/4 c. Hot Water


Mix flour, baking powder, salt, cocoa and sugar. Stir in milk, oleo, and vanilla. (Mixture will be very stiff.) Blend in nuts. Spread mixture in 9" square pan. Make sauce and pour over cake. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Serve warm with ice cream and fresh strawberries.
